Jakarta – Universitas Darunnajah has once again organized a highly beneficial event for academics. On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, a workshop titled “Article Writing for Scopus-Indexed Journals” was held at the Abu Bakar Building, Universitas Darunnajah campus in Jakarta.

The event was led by Dr. Asmawati binti Muhamad, a Senior Lecturer from the Academy of Islamic Studies at Universiti Malaya, who has extensive experience in academic writing and research. With a Scopus ID of 57208755331, Dr. Asmawati has successfully secured research funding totaling RM 845,797.00 for 19 research projects and boasts over 50 academic publications. Her expertise is expected to help participants improve the quality of their articles for submission to Scopus-indexed journals.

The event was attended by the Rector of Universitas Darunnajah, Dr. Much. Hasan Darojat, along with the university’s Vice Rectors and Deans. They delivered welcoming remarks to the workshop participants, emphasizing the importance of strengthening academic publication quality, particularly those indexed in Scopus, to enhance the university’s international reputation.

Dr. Much. Hasan Darojat stated, “This event is a concrete step toward strengthening the quality of research and academic publications at Universitas Darunnajah. We hope that after attending this workshop, participants can develop better academic works and contribute to the global academic community.”

The workshop participants included faculty members and students committed to improving their skills in writing scholarly articles for Scopus-indexed journals. Additionally, the event served as an opportunity for Universitas Darunnajah to strengthen its collaboration with Universiti Malaya in research and academic publishing.
The workshop began at 08:00 WIB and ran until completion, with various sessions designed to provide insights and practical techniques for writing academic articles that meet the standards of international journals.
